It is not only in Indonesia, every country have to struggle with raising unemployment. The crime or social unrest will follow if the unemployment could not be managed. Mostly the millennial are the source of the problem, productive age but not giving any benefit to the country.
The reason probably blame on the stagnant of economy, but actually reside on the human resource itself. It is very hard to get job without having skill. Even graduated from famous university, have to struggle also to find job as they like.
Although many already give up on favorite job, by accepting any job available in the market, but the lack of skill have to be considered also. Mostly company won't hire fresh graduated without any single experience. Even have internship program, company still consider fresh graduate.
This problem has to be solved on the table, since all the stakeholder have the interest to the labor. Simply not enough by opening new program for the unemployment but also to create good climate in industry itself. Starting from bureaucracy reform, preventive corruption and good regulation for wage worker.
All have to be solved throughly, since all aspect are connected. Industry or company will not survive with high paid worker and worker also could not live enough with raising basic need price. So it is back to the policy in economy, growth or creating fundamental economy.
It is absolutely better with long term solution than a populist program. The interest is so valuable than the program itself. Big population can be blessed and can be cursed also.
