All country are racing toward high in economy growth, but the result always below expectation. Many believe just the slowing down of the international market, blame for the US China trade war and else. The question still the same, why the economy growth is so low?
Perhaps need to see deep to the root of the economy problem in each country, especially in developing country. They usually just face on circle of problem like corruption, bureaucracy, other than external factors, which usually not so pertinent. Although still related and affect but not much.
Their problem rise on their inside system which is weak and not too strong to tackle the outside factors. Perhaps it is the problem also in Indonesia economy, which could not cross 5 percent line. there are still too many things to do and solve.
Investors always complaining for the high cost of doing business, bureaucracy, uncertainty in regulation. This is nothing new and every year always the same problem. Although some analyst see improvement from previous year, but still to slow to curve the on going economy.
The challenge are to big but the support are to low. This is the point also found in the human resource. The productivity index is too slow compare the rise of the labor wages. The question also, why this is still become obstacle and nothing to be done.
Perhaps this is the homework for the next administration in Indonesia. Whoever win the election will face the same problem, and need big effort to push the growth above 5 percent.
