Public opinion regarding regulation on creative industry is widely open. The interest was based upon how regulation should not hold the creativity in the process. In other side regulation needed to utilize the benefit in creative industry, i.e tax share, legal permit, all benefited to the country.
The problem seem not compromised, since both party depend their idea. The regulation itself still far from over and must face many test in society or industry creative itself. one way or another still time to improve the sector cover in the regulation.
One interesting sector is about how foreign creative industry follow the regulation. Like singer from other country do concert in Indonesia. It seem bit controlling, because they should collaborate with local singer, and have managed by local creative industry.
Perhaps that become an obstacle, since many international singer they don't like to be dictated in their concert. Usually they request so many thing that the local organizer often could not provide the request. It is not about thing but about creativity.
If we compare the planned regulation to the other country, seem doesn't different that much. The problem is creative industry still growing and need many support, not like in the developed country. Its o.k about the tax or legal procedure, but bureaucracy regarding the paper still not good enough.
Hopefully in future we will see the regulation regarding creative industry would be benefit for all party. Don't worry if you want to do concert in Indonesia is still welcome and no restriction regarding creativity. You just follow the legal procedure, the same like in your country.
